Social media has changed from small drops to a big tycoon drop (yeah I know my own invention :-) ) . It has also captured many of our imagination. Facebook, Twitter, Google+ are some famous media where people interact. Twitter has evolved from small micro blogging site to a big marketing tool. When it comes to reaching to your fans or customers there is no better way than twitter. While Facebook shares a less popularity, it too deserves to be credited since it is more visually pleasant than twitter and people get to interact in more ways. Now, where does this interaction lead to? Is it good? Or, is it bad? While the answer, if you ask me, is YES, it is SWEET !!! 
But wait, there is more to it than being just an interaction tool. Facebook and Twitter have changed the way people meet and get personal. Gone are the days when people meet each other and come to a conclusion if they can be friends or ??? Whatever!!! Now, these social media sites have revolutionized how people meet or get personal. Now, just a friend request is enough and the conversation goes from ‘you look cute’, ‘don’t you like me’, ‘I love you’ and finally to ‘Can we have sex?’. Oh god!!! What is happening to this world?? Yes, it sounds sweet when you don’t have to go out with her two to three times or maybe forever just to have sex. But come on!! Is that not like taking a stranger into your bed or life all of a sudden?? What about privacy? What about safety?? What if someone hacks your account and steals all your personal photos and morph them into ….. ??? Lol!!! Won’t it be nice if they morph you into George Clooney But, seriously this is rubbish!!! Yes, it is fun, interesting and useful when you need to keep in touch with your old pals or wanna share your vacation photos to your buddies. But what are we doing with it? The more drastic effect is people are turning into couch potatoes!!! Yes, potatoes are good!! But you can’t be a couch potato. The day begins with Facebook and ends with Facebook. Whoof!!! Can’t imagine a life without Facebook they say!!! So, I ask them, were you living in planet Niburu till 2005? Now, here comes Twitter. Wow!! This micro blogging site is a junkyard. People pour in their useless promotions, ads, ideas and what not. As far as I know only STARS get the attention, tweets and re-tweets, not an ordinary guy 
…. It is hard to make someone follow you… Do u know that? Well, I realized this fact, the moment I started using Twitter But it is a good advertising tool. So, we come back to the same question, “Is social media good or bad?” Yes!! It is really good since people share their ideas, thoughts, views and world becomes more public. You can have a friend who is in New Zealand but you may live right opposite side of the world… But a right dosage should do. The moment you overdo it, you get paralyzed, you freak out and start worshiping. It is not going to do any good to you since you finally become a COUCH POTATO!!! YES POTATOES ARE GOOD BUT NOT THE COUCH ‘Y’ ONE’S ….

Google has agreed to buy Motorola Mobility for a price of $12.5 billion and thus has prepared itself to get into handset business directly.
Motorola is always known for its creative designs. Customers were frustrated with Motorola because they faced problems going past the locked bootloader which disabled them from using any custom ROM. Now that Google is going to own Mototrola Mobility we can expect a lot from them. Larry Page also mentioned that Motorola will be run as a separate unit and it will be a sort of commitment to keep Android open. This deal might be advantageous for both the ends as Motorola would gain back its name with open source devices and Google will get to solve its patent issues. Till now Google has only been creating an operating system for millions of smart phones and tablets called ‘ANDROID’. It is yet to get into the design and manufacturing business itself (Except for few models from HTC and Samsung). Motorola, along with HTC, has been a major early supporter of the Android operating system.
“Android is clearly adding competition, innovation, and user choice. Protecting that ecosystem is pro-competitive almost by definition”, Motorola Chief Executive Sanjay Jha said.
Well, whatever happens, happens for good and Google will as usual continue to work with all its android partners to develop and distribute innovative devices. And as of now we will wait for more innovative and creative devices from Motorola, I mean, Google….

Gone are the days when Nokia used to rule the smartphone industry with it’s Symbian OS. Now, it’s using a new trump card which is the windows OS. After looking at the picture displayed, I must say the design is quite good and the specifications (not known) should also be good. But, I feel Nokia should have choosen android as it’s card rather than windows. Will this ploy make them a strong competitor in smart phone industry again? Somethings we should wait and watch. Well, if you ask me the war between Android and Apple has really thrown in lot of surprises, especially for android, since it has a given a new dimension for looking at smart phones. Why ? Simple. It is the brand!! Apple has evolved with its brand. People buy Apple for its brand rather than its features. Anyways, I feel people who buy it don’t understand much of the technology around. Owning an iPhone makes people think that they have got the most sophisticated phone on the planet. But they should understand that it is not the case. What we eventually see is that, the war between these smart phones has brought out large choices which are cheap and affordable. No more is a smartphone priced in the price range of over 600 dollars. Rates have gone down as there is lots of competition and more choices. As a customer we have benefited and we will continue to as the war goes on!!!

For the past few weeks, I have got many emails asking whether Samsung Galaxy S2 is finally the iPhone killer. Well, if you ask me it is really a monster and can overshadow iPhone in features, since it is Dual Core with 1.2 GHz processor. But, when compared to Apple’s built, there is a lot lacking in Samsung Galaxy S2 as it is made of cheap plastic and doesn’t really showcase it’s class. Lesser price than iPhone is a fact to consider but HTC does not compromise on it’s built and is priced at the same category (HTC sensation).
Now let us see some features which may or may not make Samsung Galaxy S2 ‘the iPhone Killer’. First of all, the display when compared to retina display of iPhone is below average but Samsung display is not that bad as it has 4.3 inch Super Amoled. It’s colors are rich and it brings life to pictures. Next comes the browser with flash support and 1.2 GHz processor. Samsung really makes browsing a cake walk. Apple sometimes dies when loading heavy content but Galaxy S2 is way ahead. The camera is 8mp with full HD recording so it is an utter waste of time to compare it with iPhone’s 5 mp. Though it’s camera does a good job, when compared to Galaxy S2 it is just a mere camera phone, not an outstanding one. Gaming? Well, gaming is awesome in Galaxy S2. You really need to test the graphics. It is just a breeze and the ease with which you can play games is too good. The 4.3 inch display makes it even special. So, you can see Galaxy S2 outscores in every department possible but where does it stand out? If you ask Apple’s ”crazy” customers it is just a one word answer that it is ‘APPLE’. But if you ask me personally, Apple can never overshadow Galaxy S2. Maybe possible in dreams!!!!
